Forest Arms apartments was was built in 1905 and is located in the Wayne State University housing district. A corner stone beside the front entrance proclaims the date it was built. Forest Arms fits in with other Victorian era buildings in the area. (*1) On February 6, a major fire destroyed a portion of the site. Now the upper apartment windows are gaping portals to the sky, where dwellings once were.

“Apparently (*2)Kadushin Associates Architects Planners have a bold initiative to renovate and restore this complex into a partial residential/business location.” This is not an accurate statement
Mr Lowell, that statement was paraphrased from a Model D (*1) article. Abraham Kadashin was quoted in the article so it seemed that his firm might be involved in future renovations. You are cited in a second (*2) article about the Forest Arms. As the owner of the building, I would welcome a current update.
